Terms of service

The ground rules for using Hueclip, in plain language.

Last updated October 22, 2026

Agreeing to these terms

These terms form an agreement between you and Hueclip (“we”, “us”) for your use of Hueclip, including our website, dashboard and browser extension (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

What the Service does

Hueclip lets you capture fonts, colors, color palettes, screenshots and animated GIFs from web pages with a browser extension, collect them in a dashboard, arrange them into boards using templates, share boards on public pages and copy items into Figma. Features and limits depend on your plan.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
  • Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

Subscriptions and billing

Hueclip is a subscription service, not a one-time license. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Dodo Payments and renew automatically until you cancel.

  • Prices and limits. Current prices, board counts, upload sizes and features are on the pricing section. Taxes may be added at checkout.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and then it won’t renew.
  • Changing plans. You can upgrade or downgrade. If you downgrade, content above the new plan’s limits may become read-only or be removed after notice.
  • Price changes. We will give you advance notice before a price change affects you, so you can cancel first.
  • Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend paid features until it is resolved.
  • Refunds. See the Refund policy.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you save to Hueclip. You give us a limited license to host, process, display and transmit that content only as needed to run the Service for you, including rendering your boards, share pages and exports.

You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to save and share it.

Content from other websites

The extension can capture material created by other people, such as images, layouts, typefaces and animations. That material usually belongs to its creators.

  • Use clips for reference, inspiration and research. Don’t present other people’s work as your own.
  • Before publishing a board that contains third-party work, make sure you have permission or a lawful basis to share it.
  • We respond to copyright complaints as described on our Copyright and takedowns page.

Public share pages

When you share a board, it is published on a public page that anyone with the link can view, unless you use a password-protected link where your plan allows it. You decide what to share and you can unshare at any time. We are not responsible for what viewers do with content you make public.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights
  • upload or share unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or malicious content
  • capture personal or confidential information from pages you don’t have the right to copy
  • probe, disrupt or overload the Service, or bypass its limits or security
  • scrape, resell or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows
  • share your account with others or create accounts to evade a suspension

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Browser extension

You may install and use the extension to access the Service. Keep it updated, and use it only on pages and in ways you are allowed to. How it handles data is described in the Privacy policy.

Changes to the Service

We keep improving Hueclip and may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep the Service available, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. See what’s new in the changelog.

Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, put the Service or other users at risk, or fail to pay. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to export your content.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee that clips will capture every font, color or animation exactly as it appears on a page.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction over disputes, except where your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. We’d like the chance to resolve any issue informally first, so please contact us before filing a claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, notify you before they take effect. Using the Service after the changes take effect means you accept them.
